Well, that was the last of it. Bye, Jules. I hate unpacking. Somebody else should do it for me. ... I'll give you twenty bucks and a really awesome Nightwing action figure. You know you want to?

Holy familiar looking circus, Batman.
Not funny. It's a little funny... |

I gotta say. I know a lot of people are pretty pissed about the DC reboot and they have every right to be since a lot of that is total crap, but personally? As much fun as Dick had playing Batman and even if he won't admit to being butt hurt over the undoing of his and Damian's partnership - He's relieved to be back in the Nightwing mantel. Trying to be Bruce was always way too awkward, and didn't always pan out the way it was meant to. Or ever. You'd think all the Robins would have learned that by now, but no, we're still all trying to be Batman with much shorter pants. For the record? Say what you will about the short pants but they were way more comfortable then all that kevlar. |

To whom it may concern: If you get a present from me this year, just know that I risked life and limb to give it to you and appreciate. This wrapping paper is out for blood, I've already gotten five paper cuts and I'm nowhere near done yet. This blows.

It's times like these that I really don't understand Dick. Who in their right mind would willingly put themselves in charge of groups like the Teen Titans and the Outsiders? Even if the JL is shockingly similar as a group. At least I'm not in charge of it. My only semi-educated guess is that he adopted Bruce's tendency to take in young strays from the cold and encourage them to dress up in bizarre outfits. As super heroes, are we just tragically condemned to a life of hideously bad fashion sense? Does it really help to strike fear into the hearts of super villains everywhere? I ask you. Give me meaning to my confusing, fashion faux pas'd existence!

Make no mistake, the Agency did not take the unfortunate circumstances surrounding the death of Kyle Thomas lightly, nor did we wish for it to end that way. I want to reiterate that the Agency is here to help, but we can't help you if you don't help us. The only way we can finally live in peace is if we stop fighting each other. It's commendable to believe in something so strongly that you're willing to lay your life down for it, but we don't and have never wished for that. You may see your compliance with our new government as defeat, but we see it as a necessary means for survival and much sought after peace. We respond with a heavy heart to every report we receive of events like what to place yesterday, so as your director I implore you. The war is long over, and it's time to stop fighting.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact me or your local caretaker's office.
- Agency Director Colin Ford

If anyone needs me, I'm not going to be in the office for the next few days. I'm going to be at home. Locked in my room. Drinking myself to death. This really sucks. All crisis and natural disasters, direct them to somebody else. Thanks. |

| #31 - Official Agency Announcement |
[Jul. 25th, 2010|06:42 pm] |
There's been a community wide incident. Just yesterday the Agency, Camelot, and the Los Angeles District Attorney's office received mysterious packages in the mail containing an nearly unidentifiable liquid substance and a note of mysterious origins attached.
We are now certain that this liquid was laced with truth serum, and evidence on the boards seems to show that it was a sample of a much bigger batch that has made it into our water supply. We currently have no suspects, and little about this truth serum is known except from what we know of its affects when Core put the ingredient into bottles of water produced en mass nearly a year ago. The side effects of consuming water laced with truth serum is just that, you can't control the things you're saying and many have the unpleasant experience of publicizing private information that they wouldn't have otherwise shared. Not in a situation like this, but I've been the victim of having my private life fully exposed to the world before. As you all know I came out of the closet just a few months ago, though not of my own will and it hurt the person I was (and am) seeming deeply. It's not a great feeling, similar to how I would feel if my prior fling with my best friend Juliet was just exposed like that to the world with prior consent from either of us.
Um My heart goes out to anyone currently suffering a similar experience. I would encourage everyone not to drink anymore bottled water for the remainder of the week, we have no idea how long these effects will last but we are considering the possibility that the less you drink the better chance you have of the effects wearing off sooner. Or at least not getting any worse. We can't know anything for certain, but I assure you the Agency is doing everything in their power to find out more about this and hopefully produce some kind of antidote for this. Please try not to panic, this isn't great news, but the good news is consuming this serum won't result in anything fatal. The Agency is pulling together all their resources to rectify this problem. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me or Director Macintosh.

Watching Batman & Robin is always such a unique experience for me. I can never decide if Alicia Silverstone is trying to be Babs or Steph. And for a gay man himself, Chris O'Donnell does such a convincing straight man performance of Dick that it freaks us out a little bit. (I think Dick is getting far too used to me for his own good.) Also, I can never decide which Batman suit era I prefer, the one that accentuates our man breasts or the one that leaves little to the imagination, if you know what I mean.
Why, oh why with the crazy eyebrows, Uma Thurman? I haven't had nightmares about you since I was ten, but I am suddenly dreading going to sleep tonight...
